Knitting and Shopping

On this dreary, cold, and rainy day, Amber and I met at Bean Hollow to drink coffee, knit, and catch up. Then we did a little shopping at Sweet Elizabeth Jane.

Snow

Yesterday it started to snow, and it didn't stop for a very long time. I tried to drive in it last night, like a dummy, and Cody had to rescue me. But while I was cursing the snow and what it was doing to the roads, I was also remarking on how beautiful it is. Snow is a funny thing.

Signs

Happy New Year!
I spent the day on Main Street, having coffee, reading "Anne of Avonlea," and taking pictures of signs. New Year's Day is one of my favorite days of the year. I love the feeling of beginning something new and starting with a clean slate. I hope your year is full of new adventures and lots of love.
