It's been a long time since I've posted to my blog and there's so much to catch up on! I now have two jobs and we've had visit from all of our parents (yay!) so I haven't had a lot of extra time or energy. But I want to get back to posting as frequently as I can. So....let's play catch up!
1. I now have two part-time jobs. One is at
Sprinkles Cupcakes and the other is at the
Shakespeare Theatre Company. Free cupcakes and free theatre tickets! Perfect.
2. Cody's parents came to DC! We had such a great time and it was so nice to finally meet them. Here are some pics from their visit:

3. My parents came to DC! Another great time was had! I sure do miss my parents and it was a lovely week. Here are some pics:

4. Cody and I spend last Saturday at the National Zoo. It's a very short walk from our apartment (I seem to have a thing for living near zoos). It was a beautiful day and the day before Easter, so it seemed like the perfect day for the zoo, but it was actually super crowded and we had to miss a few things because there were just too many people and we didn't want to stand in lines. BUT, we still had a nice time and I'm looking forward to going back on a less crowded day.
5. We celebrated Easter in our own little way. I had to work all day on Sunday, but we dyed eggs on Saturday night and Cody even hid one for me to find when I got back from work on Easter day:)
I hope everyone else had a wonderful holiday. I am so grateful that we were able to spend time with our parents. We miss everyone so much!
